Andrea Vázquez

Andrea Vázquez, based in San Marcos, Texas, is a consultant with META Associates. She specializes in evaluating Title I-C State and Consortium Incentive Grants, facilitating the Continuous Improvement Cycle for Title I-C State Grants, developing grant proposals for state and federal funding opportunities, and providing technical assistance to ensure compliance with federal program requirements. Andrea holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She previously served as Assistant Director of the Center for Migrant Education at Texas State University and as a Program Manager at the Texas Education Agency, where she provided technical assistance to local sites on Title I, II, IV, and VI programs, the Emergency Immigrant and Refugee Children’s Impact programs, and the Binational Migrant Education Initiative.
