Guillermo Durón
Dr. Guillermo Durón, based in St. George, Utah, is a consultant with META Associates. He specializes in program evaluation for Title I-C State Grants, Indian Education, Alaskan Native programs, higher education STEM initiatives, Title V (Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program) projects, and College Assistance Migrant Programs. Dr. Durón holds a Ph.D. in Research Methodology and the Sociology of Education from Loyola University Chicago. Previously, he served as the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Department of Bilingual/ESOL Education and Assistant Director of Human Resources for Denver Public Schools. He also worked as the National Origin Equity Coordinator for the Mountain and Northern Plains States Desegregation Assistance Center and as a Research Associate for RMC Research. In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Durón has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in research methodology, served as a dissertation advisor in statistics, and provided statistical analysis support to faculty. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
